The Riverview: Wedding Flowers by Earth Blossoms and photography by Studio 1923

Once again The Riverview was the reception location for another one of our June 2010 brides.

The bride carried a bouquet of ivory roses, stephanotis , mini calla lillies and hydrangea
The ceremony took place at St. Mary's Church in Simsbury, followed by the reception at The Riverview. Lovely June weather and pretty Farmington Valley area scenery only enhanced the gorgeous flowers we put together!
The bridesmaids wore eggplant color gowns and carried vibrant flowers in greens and purple shades

The Bride, her Maids of Honor, Bridesmaids, Jr bridesmaids, Flower girl and Miniature bride!
The bride with one of her bridesmaids who was also one of our former brides!

Our beautiful pedestal centerpieces contained curly willow, eggplant dendrobium  orchids, green hydrangea and were fabulously highlighted by the purple uplighting at the venue!
The appetizer table was enhanced with a tree made from eggplant color dendrobium orchids, curly willow branches and crystals.

Finally the cake was decorated with a simple but lush cluster of ivory vendela roses with a touch of gold sparkle.
Our thanks again to Studio 1923 & Dorothy and Bryan for the photos!

Wedding Flowers at The Riverview in Simsbury, CT

Victoria Souza Photography
In June we were fortunate to have designed the wedding flowers for a lovely couple at The Riverview. The bride chose a progression of shades of orchids and roses from white to deep pink for her bouquet.

The ceremony was held outside under the tented area at
The Riverview.
We designed simple ceremony flowers comprised of pink and green mini cymbidium orchids attached to curly willow branches.

Flowers for the bridesmaids bouquets consisted of green hydrangea, green cymbidium orchids and two shades of pink roses. The two adorable flower girls tossed pink and coral rose petals down the aisle.

On some of the tables in the reception room we placed tall pedestal towers with gorgeous clusters of pink and green hydrangea, coral and pink peonies, pink garden roses and standard pink roses accented with a few tear drop crystals.

On other tables we used tall clear glass vases with stems of either pink or green cymbidium orchid sprays.

It was a standout wedding with a beautiful couple and beautiful flowers!

Much thanks to Chaquira and Rafael, as well as, Erik and Victoria for the use of these sensational photos!
