Sapphires and diamonds in her engagement ring were the inspiration for todays bride to have a wedding in shades of blues and white. Her stunning bouquet consisted of mini callas, roses, stephanotis w/ clear and sapphire swarovski crystals in the centers, sapphire blue delphinium and blue hydrangea. The bridesmaids wore sapphire dresses and carried similar bouquets, the flower girls carried blue hydrangea pomanders with sapphire ribbon. The reception was held in a tent, under the clear blue sky. The cubed pedestal vases had a sapphire blue delphinium submerged under water and were topped with a centerpiece of similar flowers.
This has been a summer filled with beautiful hydrangea weddings and this past weekend was no exception. The bride wanted muted tones of blues, greens and ivory and she received that not only in the flowers but in the colors of the sky and lake as well. The wedding arch became a frame for the picturesque lake scenery.
